The Army men’s tennis team sent three representatives to the ITA Northeast Regional this weekend in Philadelphia, Pa.Michael Good, Kevin Harris and Sean Harris competed for the Black Knights matching wits against the top players in the region.
Good qualified for the main singles draw, but the senior fell in the opening round of 64 to to Guillaume St. Maurice of Penn State in, 6-4, 6-4.
Good teamed with Kevin Harris in the doubles draw. The Army duo was pitted opposite Penn State’s Michael James and Adam Slagter and lost in the first round, 8-3.
Kevin Harris and Sean Harris both participated in the qualifier earlier in the week and lost first round matches. Kevin slipped to Diego Alvarado of Manhattan in three sets, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2, while Sean was beaten by Sam Wagner of Boston College, 6-4, 6-2.
Army concludes its fall slate next weekend in Ithaca, N.Y., at the Cornell Fall Invitational.
