Boxing Club is Building Champions and Community

Thursday, at Gallo Hall, inside the Sacred Heart School, Vesuvio’s Ristorante and Papaleo’s Auto Body Inc. once again teamed up for the 8th year to hold their Annual Newburgh Community Thanksgiving Feast, where from 11:30am- 2:00pm, they served close to 100 meals and delivered 300 others, complete with beverages and dessert, giving back to the community they love and have been a part of for over 30 years.

The inaugural Ulster County Sojourner Truth Awards, were distributed on Saturday, November 22, at St. James United Methodist Church in Kingston honoring outstanding high school students who embody the courage, resilience, leadership in service to others, and advocacy of one of Ulster County’s most extraordinary native daughters.

The Newburgh Free Academy high school students teamed up with community members last week to distribute a Thanksgiving giveaway filled with seasonal foods and fresh vegetables.
