Dolores E. Prezzano

Dolores E. Prezzano, 77, a resident of Poughquag for 15 years and formerly of Mahopac, died on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Yonkers on February 13, 1930, she was the daughter of John and Ethel Sackett McPartland. Dolores had been employed as a secretary for Reader’s Digest, Pleasantville for 10 years until her retirement in 1992. She was a parishioner of St. Denis Church, Hopewell Junction.

On September 3, 1950 in Yonkers, Dolores married Charles T. Prezzano who predeceased her on May 26, 1978. She is survived by her children, Charles R. Prezzano of Rhinebeck, Richard Prezzano and his wife, Mary Ellen of Poughquag, and June May and her husband, John of Beekman; her sisters, June Kluepfel and Ellen Budderman and her brothers, Jack and Kevin McPartland. She especially loved her 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth J. Prezzano, on March 13, 1973.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery.
