Saturday, at the VFW Lodge on Main Street in Beacon, Hebron Lodge #48 Prince Hall Free and Accepted Masons held their Annual Thanksgiving Dinner event. For over thirty years, the , altruistic-aimed group has been preparing and serving turkey dinners, with all the trimmings, to community members in need. Some recipients came directly to the VFW to get their delicious meals personally handed to them for takeout; while others, who were homebound and located at senior housing developments, had their thanksgiving meals delivered. The popular and much needed holiday tradition provided hot, homemade meals made with care and love to over 200 community members.
