NEWBURGH – When the lights go down on The Price Choppers Supermarket Stage the festivities will not end. The Ferry Godmother invites you to join her on the River Rose for the farewell sail of the Newburgh Jazz Series 2008. Proceeds from this event will help offset the expenses of the series.
Departing from the Newburgh Landing, this “After-Party” will be held on the final evening of the concerts Thursday August 28th at 9 p.m. sharp. The River Rose will welcome ticket-holders aboard for a roaring good time on the Hudson River. The phenomenal Saints of Swing, performing a New Orleans style concert, will close the series on land then lead the precession to the boat where Newburgh’s native DJ, Majestic Music will spin a magical end to another successful Ferry Godmother production. Included on board will be food, desserts and a cash bar.
