West Point pays tribute to Buffalo Soldiers

I had the privilege to participate in this important event. I came away with a feeling of great pride that for nearly 50 year we have annually paid homage to the soldiers of the 9^th and 10^th Cavalry Regiments.

These dedicated souls served during a time when they were not afforded the respect they were due for their service to West Point, the Army, and the nation. The surviving members of these proud units and their families can now justly bask in glory at these annual events.
