City of Newburgh to host 1st annual Halloween Parade

Newburgh – Halloween 2009 in the City of Newburgh will see another successful event being born. The first annual Newburgh Parade and Concert will step off on Saturday, October 31st at 6pm. Everyone is invited to take part in this historical mini-parade which will gather at 6:00 p.m. in front of the Old Cemetery at Gidney Avenue and Liberty Street. The procession will end at Tyrone Crabb Park on Grand Street where there will be a musical concert, \”Tribute to the Grateful Dead\”, by the exciting Nailed Shut. Everyone is welcome to join this free and fun event. There will be goody bag giveaways and a costume contest with prizes to the Vampire Ball at The Wherehouse on Liberty Street, Newburgh. Organized by Newburgh’s renowned event planner Ferry Godmother Productions, this event is destined to be another regional sensation.
