Dear Editor:
Legislative District 4 in the City of Newburgh is the home to the most diverse population in Orange County. Our residents cover an economic range from upper middle class commuters traveling to New York City to families who are struggling to survive. Our neighborhoods are made up of many different races, ethnic groups, traditional and non traditional families. It is therefore important that we have someone in the legislature who can represent all of us. My choice this year will be Damon Finch.
Damon has committed himself to this community. He has provided job training to many residents, developed programs to serve our youth and been involved in many local initiatives. He understand the needs of the area, including affordable housing, economic development and reliable transportation. Damon is not afraid to ask the hard questions and will do what is necessary to bring a positive idea to fruition.
District 4 needs a change in representation in Orange County and I believe that Damon finch is the person to bring about that change. Please vote for Damon Finch on Row 8G, Newburgh Newvision November 3rd.
