Really? Really?

Dear Editor:

I read last Friday’s in the newspaper and I saw a series of op-ed letters from Republican Committee Members and it brought to mind the Saturday Night Live skit entitled “Really?!”.

Clay Morrissey supports Gil Piaquadio for his not being afraid to speak out on issues and sometimes this means being named in lawsuits in Federal Court in White Plains. That is why you support him. Really? Really?

James Manley warns us that if we value stable taxes, we must re-elect Booth, Piaquadio and Woolsey. The tax rate rose an unprecedented 134.8% in the first 10 years of this administration. Manley calls 134.8% tax increases stable taxes. Really? Really?

George Woolsey is named in a racial bias lawsuit brought against him and Wayne Booth by a black employee and is alleged in the lawsuit to have called the employee anti-white. This employee is married to a Caucasian woman.  Anti-white? Really? Really?

George Woolsey walked out of a town board meeting when being asked budget questions by a senior. He got up, left the room and never apologized. Is that how a public official conducts himself? Really? Really?

My vote is going to Gary MacEntee for the Town Of Newburgh Board and I am confident he is the right choice. Really!! Really!!
