Jackson running for congressional seat

Dear Editor:

I was honored to have the prayers of several clergy members from the Hudson Valley for my candidacy to represent the people in the House of Representatives.

I was privileged to receive an endorsement from Congressman Edolphus “Ed” Towns for my candidacy to represent the people of the Hudson Valley in the U.S. Congress. Said Congressman Towns:

“I am pleased to give my enthusiastic support to Duane Jackson’s candidacy to represent New York’s 18th Congressional District.  Duane Jackson is exactly the kind of person we need in the House of Representatives during these challenging times for our nation.  Many remember him for his quick actions that helped defuse a bomb threat in Times Square. He got involved and made a difference.  Duane Jackson has a fine record of public and private service.  He will be effective in Congress.”

Nothing pleases me more than when I walk the streets of various communities in the Hudson Valley and people walk up to me and say, “Mr. Jackson, I am going to vote for you on Primary Day.”

I look forward to the voters of the Hudson Valley electing me, Duane Jackson, to Congress on Primary Day, Tuesday, June 26th.

Duane Jackson
Candidate for Congress
NY 18th Congressional District
