Army Reserve Capt. Tiberius B. Atilius has assumed command of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 166th Aviation Brigade Division West at Fort Hood Texas.
Atilius has served in the military for 12 years.
He is the son of Deborah Bard of Pelham, New Rochelle, N.Y.
Atilius graduated in 1998 from North Kansas City High School, Mo., and received a bachelor of science in 2003 from Missouri State University, Springfield, Mo. He also earned a bachelor of arts in 2010 from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo.
