Army Lt. Col. Daniel C. Hodne

Army Lt. Col. Daniel C. Hodne has graduated from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pa., and earned a master’s degree in Strategic Studies. The college is the Army’s senior educational institution.

The 10-month curriculum of the Army’s senior officer school is designed to prepare and train officers of all the U.S. military branches of service, foreign military officers, as well as senior civilian officials of federal agencies, to serve in top-level command and staff positions with the U.S. Armed Forces worldwide.

Hodne has served in the military for 22 years. He is the son of Thomas and Ruth Hodne of Strawtown Road, New City. Hodne graduated in 1987 from Clarkstown Senior High School South, West Nyack, and received a bachelor of science in 1991 from the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. He also earned a master of arts in 2002 from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, La.
