Army Reserve Lt. Col. Nancy A. Waldron

Army Reserve Lt. Col. Nancy A. Waldron has deployed overseas to a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Operation Enduring Freedom is the official name given to anti-terrorism military operations involving U.S. troops and allied coalition partners. Active duty and reserve component members from all branches of the U.S. armed forces have been deployed to support the war against global terrorism outside the borders of the United States. U.S. troops serve in South, Southwest and Central Asia, the Arabian peninsula, the Horn of Africa, islands in the Pacific, and Europe.

Waldron is a legal advisor assigned to the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command at Redstone Arsenal, Ala. The lieutenant colonel has served in the military for 21 years.

She is the daughter of Elfriede Nollmann of Palmer Road, Yonkers. Her husband, Randy, is the son of Mathilde Albert of Marty Road, Elizaville. Waldron graduated in 1984 from Lincoln High School, Yonkers, and received a bachelor of arts in 1988 from Syracuse University. She also earned a juris doctor in 1991 from Syracuse College of Law.
