Dear Editor:
One person in the political field can make a difference and Francena Amparo, Democratic Dutchess County legislator for District 14, is one who I support.
Knowing Ms. Amparo and her commitment to the citizens of Dutchess County, I see that she has continued to make inroads in many areas: jobs, mental health services, airport management, and alternatives to the jail problem.
Ms. Amparo has been an elected official since 211 and sits on such committees as Government Services and Administration, Veteran’s Affairs, Environment, and Airport solution. She hosts the annual Health and Wellness Fair in our area and this is the fourth year it has taken place.
I support Ms. Amparo, her beliefs, and her commitment to helping our area’s citizens..
