U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Durrell J. Moore

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Durrell J. Moore graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Moore is the son of Shermenan D. Moore of Elmsford, N.Y., and Donald Moore Jr. of Spring Valley, N.Y., and is the grandson of Armecia and Donald Moore Sr. of New Rochelle, N.Y.

He is a 2009 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School, Bronx, N.Y.
