U.S. Air Force Airman Zaskira M. Cabrera

U.S. Air Force Airman Zaskira M. Cabrera graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Cabrera is the daughter of Joseph H. Cabrera and Mercedes Melara of Wassaic, N.Y., sister of Zackia M. Cabrera of Bronx, N.Y., and Venus C. Cabrera of Wassaic, N.Y., and wife of Andy Abreu of Bronx, N.Y.

She is a 2011 graduate of Croton Harmon High School, Croton On Hudson, N.Y.
