Mount Saint Mary Seniors Earn Bevy of Awards

NEWBURGH – More than 30 Mount Saint Mary College students were recognized for their service to the college, their fellow students, and the Newburgh community.

Sandra Cefaloni-Henderson, Dean of Campus Life, congratulated the “outstanding seniors who have made significant contributions to the MSMC community.” She also thanked the members of the Student Government Association for their contributions to student life.

Joseph Borden of Newburgh, N.Y. received The Mount Saint Mary College Award for his academic performance, has spirit of cooperation, his leadership and his loyal service to the college and community.
Megan Elizabeth Doyle of Amawalk, N.Y. received The Father Michael J. Gilleece Memorial Award for her moral character, academic achievements, and for “the development of the human potential of Mount Saint Mary College students,” explained Cefaloni-Henderson.

Kaitlyn Marie Hogan of Brooklyn, N.Y. received The Senior Award for Outstanding Service to the Class of 2016, for serving her classmates, the college community, and the community at large.

Amanda Margaret Pecorella of Fishkill, N.Y. received The Thomas J. Conlon Memorial Award for showing outstanding leadership in Student Government.

In addition, several groups of students received awards for their service.
