Colin Schmitt Receives the LNRC Endorsement

NEW WINDSOR – Colin J. Schmitt, candidate for the 99th NYS Assembly District, has been formally endorsed by the Latino National Republican Coalition of Orange County.

Ruben Estrada, LNRC Chairman, stated “The Latino National Republican Coalition of Orange County is proud to support Colin Schmitt for the New York State Assembly 99th District. We urge the public of every political persuasion to cast their vote for him in November. Orange County, New York is and continues to be home to growing Latino community. In Orange County, New York residents of Latino heritage represent a significant portion of the population from a decade ago. Moreover with the 99th Assembly District they represent 15% of the population and growing. This is a community made up of young families, entrepreneurs, and first time home owners that have left the cities due to high taxation, the rising cost of living, excessive regulations, deteriorating schools and urban crime. In Orange County and moreover the area of the 99th  District they have found a gateway to the American dream. I have had the pleasure of knowing Colin Schmitt and his family since he was a young boy. Today being able to experience his growth as a community leader and public servant that he will no doubt bring to this district and will continue to make the difference in preserving the reasons why we Latinos make Orange County our home.”

Colin Schmitt stated, ““I want to thank the Latino National Republican Coalition of Orange County for supporting my campaign for the 99th Assembly District.  As a member of the State Assembly, I look forward to partnering with the region’s growing Latino community to provide new opportunities in the Hudson Valley.  Working together, we will make it easier to raise a family, start a business and live the American Dream.”
