Annual Saugerties Car Show Draws a Crowd

Most of the downtown area was shut down and filled with more than 500 antique, custom and historic vehicles.  Many food vendors were also on hand.The great weather brought out thousands from Ulster County and the surrounding area. Playing on the main stage was the featured band “Soul City”. The group was introduced by WBPM’s Bob Miller who called them “The Premier soul band of the Hudson Valley.” The group kept the crowd entertained with many 60’s & 70’s Soul classics from Motown, Watt Stax, and Philly soul hits.
