MVP Health Care Opens New Retail Center

KINGSTON – MVP Health Care has opened a retail location within Hudson Valley Mall (1300 Ulster Ave., Kingston, N.Y. 12401) to help consumers get information about free or low- cost health insurance options, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Medicare, Individual and Essential Plans. The retail location will be open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Today, more consumers are buying their health insurance directly from insurers, as opposed to getting coverage from their employers or other groups.  MVP is helping these customers by offering health plan options that can meet everyone’s needs and budget.  In New York State, MVP offers individuals and families the options to enroll in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, or the Essential Plan, in addition to all subsidized platinum, gold, silver and bronze level health plans either directly with MVP or on the New York State of Health Marketplace. MVP also offers Medicare coverage options directly to customers, off the exchange. MVP has developed so many solutions for health insurance consumers who are buying direct that more than 50 percent of MVP’s members now enroll in individual plans.
