Restaurant Depot Holds Ribbon Cutting Event

NEWBURGH – The Orange County Chamber of Commerce was on location for the Ribbon Cutting for Restaurant Depot a new 60,000 sq. ft. facility located at 1291 Route 300 in the Town of Newburgh. Restaurant Depot the place ““Where restaurants shop” “created 40 new jobs and is a great resource for our local restaurants to shop without leaving Orange County and keeping the revenue in the County” said Lynn Allen Cione, President of the Chamber of Commerce.

The Ribbon Cutting hosted by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, was well attended by elected officials, members of the community, local restaurant owners as well as members from the Chamber. County Executive Steve Neuhaus said “there has been a significant growth in the county of private owned restaurants and having Restaurant Depot here in Orange County is a perfect marriage.” He went on to praise Town of Newburgh Supervisor Gil Piaquadio and his Town Board members for being one of the few Towns in the County to “get things done.” He wished Restaurant Depot “the best and much success in Orange County.” Town of Newburgh Town Supervisor Gil Piaquadio was also in attendance along with many members of his Town Board. “We are so glad that they opened here to serve a big purpose in the Town and the surrounding area” he called it the “beginning of a great event.” Larry Cohen, Chief Operating Officer of Restaurant Depot thanked the Town of Newburgh for their support in allowing them to open their doors in the Town and letting them do what they do best and that is “helping small businesses not only survive but also strive.”

Of all the local restaurant owners in attendance they all echoed the same sentiment in that they are so happy they no longer have to travel far out of the county in order to get supplies for their business.
