TAMPA, FLA. – A nine-run third inning lifted the University of South Florida over the Army West Point softball team in a Sunday matinee at the USF Softball Stadium.

The Black Knights fell to 13-7 on the season, while the Bulls improved to 15-11.

The Black Knights will resume their Spring Break tournament play on Wednesday against Indiana State at 11 a.m., and Monmouth at 1 p.m., in Clearwater, Fla.
