POUGHKEEPSIE – Last Wednesday, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department conducted an official swearing in ceremony for four (4) new police officers: Marina Roberti, Charles Mitchell, Andrew Shultz and Joseph Carbone.
“I am very pleased to have these four new officers sworn in today. They have been chosen from a very difficult selection process and come to our organization with great experience in law enforcement. I am confident that these officers will continue and strengthen the great level of service that the residents and visitors of Poughkeepsie have come to expect,” stated City of Poughkeepsie Chief of Police, Tom Pape.
“It was my honor today to be present to see these four new officers sworn in as members of our police department. They join the ranks of a proud and dedicated group of men and women who protect our City every day. May they stay safe as they keep our city safe.” stated Mayor Rob Rolison.
