Family Services Hires Kaitlin Rodriques

POUGHKEEPSIE – Family Services is pleased to announce the hiring of Kaitlin Rodriques as Project Coordinator of Universal Response to Domestic Violence (URDV).  URDV is Dutchess County’s Coordinated Community Response to Domestic Violence, developing and maintaining a coordinated response to victims and offenders through collaboration, problem solving and partnership between a variety of agencies in Dutchess County.

In her role as URDV Coordinator, Kaitlin will carry out the work of the URDV Steering Committee consisting of agency representatives from the District Attorney’s Office, Office of Probation and Community Corrections, Department of Community and Behavioral Health, Department of Community and Family Services, Family Court, City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department, City of Beacon Police Department, Hyde Park Police Department, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Grace Smith House, Family Services’ Center for Victim Safety and Support, Family Services’ Domestic Abuse Awareness Classes,  House of Hope, and Legal Services of the Hudson Valley.

Kaitlin comes to her role as Coordinator of URDV with significant experience in the coordination of efforts to ensure that victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse receive a supportive response.  Most recently, Kaitlin was the Risk Reduction Response Project Coordinator at Safe Homes in Orange County.  In that role, Kaitlin developed and implemented the Risk Reduction Response to domestic violence cases in Orange County, working in close collaboration with the City of Newburgh Police Department, Orange County District Attorney’s office and Orange County Department of Probation.
