Cornerstone Family Healthcare Welcomes Five New Providers

NEWBURGH – Cornerstone Family Healthcare proudly announces five new providers who have joined their rapidly expanding practice. These providers are a great addition to a team that is dedicated to meeting the health and wellness needs of the community. They welcome Jemel Bingham, MD, FACOG; Jennifer McLane, FNP; Dainelle Kich, DNP, FNP-BC; Kirstin Tarquini PA-C; and Christine Benson, LMSW.

Jemel Bingham, MD, FACOG has joined Cornerstone’s Obstetrics and Gynecology department as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Dr. Bingham earned his bachelor’s degree from Lehman College, his Doctor of Medicine from Ross School of Medicine; he completed his internship at Bronx Lebanon Center and his residency at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Bingham has received several awards, including the Press Ganey Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Recognition Award, which is bestowed on physicians who perform in the top of their class in clinical quality, and a Physician Partnership Award. The Partnership Award is given to caregivers for their passion and commitment to the patients and fellow caregivers. Dr. Bingham received the Resident Paper of the Year Award for his research involving and uncommon but highly dangerous delivery complication. His research resulted in two publications. He also received a Teaching Excellence Award from the University Of Washington School of Medicine in recognition of outstanding contributions to medical education. Dr. Bingham is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is practicing at Cornerstone’s Kaplan Family Pavilion at 147 Lake Street in Newburgh.

Jennifer McLane, FNP has joined Cornerstone’s Obstetrics and Gynecology department as a Family Nurse Practitioner. McLane comes to Cornerstone with more than 13 years of healthcare experience. At Cornerstone, McLane will be seeing patients for gynecology exams and appointments. McLane was a Registered Nurse for four years and has two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Dominican College, having graduated with honors. McLane is practicing at Cornerstone’s Kaplan Family Pavilion at 147 Lake Street in Newburgh.

Dainelle Kich, DNP, FNP-BC has joined Cornerstone’s Urgent Care department as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She comes to Cornerstone with five years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, five years of experience as a Registered Nurse, and 10 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Kich earned her bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College, her master’s degree from Long Island University, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also a Certified Emergency Nurse by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nurses. Kich is practicing in Cornerstone’s Urgent Care department at the Kaplan Family Pavilion at 147 Lake Street in Newburgh.

Kirstin Tarquini, PA-C has joined Cornerstone’s Urgent Care department as a Physician Assistant. She comes to Cornerstone with over seven years of experience in the healthcare field. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia University. Tarquini has clinical experience in internal medicine, emergency medicine, gynecology, neonatology, inpatient pediatrics, psychiatry, and surgery. She enjoys volunteering in the community and has donated time at Habitat for Humanity as a warehouse and office volunteer, Redeeming Waters International as a relief assistant, and at Camp Rainbow as a camp volunteer. Tarquini is practicing in Cornerstone’s Urgent Care department at the Kaplan Family Pavilion at 147 Lake Street in Newburgh.

Christine Benson, LMSW has joined Cornerstone’s Behavioral Health department as a Counselor. She comes to Cornerstone with 15 years of experience in counseling both individuals and groups. Benson earned her bachelor’s degree in community and health services from SUNY Empire State College and her master’s degree in social work from Fordham University. She is especially interested in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Benson is practicing at Cornerstone’s New Windsor office at 91 Blooming Grove Turnpike.
