PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Army West Point men’s soccer team played to an even 0-0 draw in Army-Navy Cup VI Sunday afternoon at Talen Energy Stadium.
With the tie, Army moved to 8-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in Patriot League play, while the Mids moved to 2-9-2 overall and 0-3-2 in league action.
The Black Knights poured on 22 shots against service-academy rival Navy, but were unable to put one into the back of the net, despite seven of those attempts coming on goal.
Army will close out its four-game stretch away from West Point when the team heads to Lewisburg, Pa. for a Patriot League matchup against Bucknell this Saturday.
