GOSHEN – Dr. Dean Scher, CEO of Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange and Sullivan (CCCSOS), is pleased to announce that Mr. Timothy McCausland has been appointed to the not-for-profit human service agency’s volunteer Board of Directors.
“We are delighted to welcome Tim to Catholic Charities’ Board of Directors,” said Dr. Scher. “He brings a wealth of experience, as well as strong relationships in both Orange and Sullivan Counties that will help further our mission to provide help and create hope for those most in need in the communities we serve.”
Mr. McCausland serves as Managing Director of Orange Bank and Trust’s Private Banking Division. He has been a member of the bank’s senior management team since joining as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy in 2010. Prior to that, Mr. McCausland served as President and CEO of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development.
A long-time resident of Rock Hill, Mr. McCausland is a graduate of Cornell University and received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. He is an active volunteer in both Orange and Sullivan Counties supporting a variety of organizations, including the Community Foundation of Orange & Sullivan Counties and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
“I’m honored to be elected to the Catholic Charities board,” said Mr. McCausland. “I have long admired the programs and services they provide in Orange County and am grateful to be a part of the team as we expand and enhance much-needed services for our friends and neighbors in Sullivan County.”
Catholic Charities of Orange and Sullivan’s board is comprised of volunteers from all walks of life from both Orange and Sullivan Counties. The Board exercises fiduciary responsibility for the proper oversight and governance of the agency and the people it serves. The full Board meets on a quarterly basis and all members also participate in a variety of standing and ad hoc committees and attend Catholic Charities’ events throughout the year.
