Santa’s Toy Box to Collect Toys For Kids

GOSHEN – Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus announced that Santa’s Toy Box, the annual toy drive for disadvantaged children in Orange County, began collecting donations of new toys and games over Thanksgiving weekend and will continue through December 22nd.

“This type of generosity is what the holidays are all about,” Neuhaus said. “There are families in Orange County that unfortunately can’t provide gifts for their children. Even the smallest gift can make a difference and I encourage residents who can, to donate a new, unwrapped toy so that every child in Orange County can receive a gift this year.”

Donations will be distributed to families in Orange County via organizations such as Family Empowerment Council, Farmworkers Community Center and Emergency Housing Group.

Santa’s Toy Box has been in operation for 32 years and is sponsored by the Orange County Department of Parks with assistance from New Winds Day Hab and Goshen Day Program.
