Woodbury Commons Ushers in Holiday Season

CENTRAL VALLEY – Woodbury Common Premium Outlets kicked off the holiday season with its second annual Tree Lighting last Friday.

Shoppers, young and old, were spotted hustling to the Hudson Valley District outside of Market Hall to take part in the festive activities. Attendees enjoyed delicious hot chocolate, coffee and cookies to keep the cold at bay and a special holiday treat, as Santa arrived on top of the Woodbury Fire Department truck to greet them.

The event included musical performances from students at local schools, as well as Victorian carolers who strolled the property, serenading shoppers throughout the night. A Toys for Tots drive was also being held for anyone interested in donating a new, unwrapped present for a child in need.
