Neuhaus Sworn in For Second Four-Year Term

GOSHEN – Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus was sworn in for his second four-year term by County Clerk Annie Rabbitt in a private ceremony on Friday at the newly constructed Legislative Chamber in the Orange County Government Center.

Neuhaus was joined at the event by District Attorney David Hoovler and Sheriff Carl E. DuBois. Hoovler and Rabbitt were also re-elected for their second terms in November.

“I’m grateful for the overwhelming support that I received during the election in November and look forward to working with my partners in County and local government as we continue to build on the successes of the last four years,” Neuhaus said. “I’m humbled and honored by the trust that Orange County residents have placed in my administration. We look forward to working diligently for them over the next four years.”

Neuhaus is Orange County’s sixth County Executive since the office was established in 1970.
