O.C. Clerk’s Office Set to Return to Gov. Center

GOSHEN – The Orange County Clerk’s Office began its move from 4 Glenmere Cove Road in Goshen to the Government Center at 255 Main Street on Monday, March 5th.

“We look forward to being back in the Government Center where County residents can find many services in one location,” County Clerk Annie Rabbitt said. “I’m excited that operations are being restored in the new facility and we are eager to assist residents there. Having County offices together in one location will be a convenience to the community.”

The County Clerk’s Office provides services such as land and court records, passports, pistol permits, the County’s Veterans Discount Card and notary public services. The County Clerk’s Government Center location will also be home to a Department of Motor Vehicles office, which will open in the coming weeks. The County will continue to operate DMV offices in Middletown, Newburgh and Port Jervis.

The following County departments have already moved to the Government Center: Budget, Consumer Affairs/Weights and Measures, County Attorney, County Executive, District Attorney, Finance, General Services/Information Technology, Human Rights, Human Resources, Legislature, Real Property and Risk Management.
