Brianna Dembo Crowned Miss Delta Jabberwock

POUGHKEEPSIE – Debutante Brianna Dembo was crowned 2018 Miss Delta Jabberwock at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Mid-Hudson Valley Alumnae Chapter’s 2018 Jabberwock Cotillion: “Journey To Achieving Our Dreams” on April 29, 2018 at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie.

Amongst the nine debutantes, Vizyion Wilson won 1st Runner Up and Bobbie Michelle Anderson 2nd Runner Up. Overall the event drew 249 attendees who witnessed these nine young ladies celebrate their introduction into society as future leaders.

“On Sunday, April 29, nine dynamic young ladies blazed a path for future debutantes to embark on an exciting adventure to empower them to become courageous women who believe in equality for all. Mankind,” from the proud Linda Melton Mann, President of the Mid-Hudson Valley Alumnae Chapter.

The Jabberwock Cotillion offers a series of workshops that aids debutantes in preparation as our future leaders.

The 2018 Miss Delta Jabberwock was crowned at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Mid-Hudson Valley Alumnae Chapter’s 2018 Jabberwock Cotillion: “Journey To Achieving Our Dreams” on April 29, 2018.

Members of the Mid-Hudson chapter of Delta Sigma Theta are active in providing health, financial, educational and social action empowerment information to the community. These include informative workshops, scholarships, and other positive resources.

The cotillion is a major fundraiser for the sorority that enables the Mid-Hudson Valley Alumnae Chapter to provide scholarships for local graduating students and fund community service projects.
