There is Currently a “Ball Of Confusion!”

This morning as I was watching a CNN press conference with President Trump.

I almost went into a rage, therefore I had to shut the TV off. In the sixties the “Temptations” made a song entitled “Ball Of Confusion” and as I was watching that press conference that is the way that my mind felt. The song said “we’re heading towards a ball of confusion,” but the way things are presently going, we are actually in that ball. “Lord Have Mercy!”

As I’m writing this column tears are flowing from my very eyes for in my life I have “never” seen things to the degree of madness that we are seeing today. Back in the 60’s we had Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Dick Gregory, Black Panthers and many others crying out about the madness that was going on, but today who do we have? “Message” music was a “Big” thing back then, but what do we have now? We are seeing perilous times unfolding before our very eyes and business is going on as usual. Babies being snatched from their mother’s breast while being nursed, children being placed in “concentration camp” types of environments, and business is going on as usual. Where is the “outrage”?

The real scary part of this is that there is nothing but silence regarding this madness coming forth from the “Religious” right! Now I can understand more than ever what was written in the Bible saying, “Depart From Me Ye Workers Of Iniquity I Know Ye Not!” (Matthew 7:23). What is going on regarding man’s inhumanity to man is very scary. Truthfully, I will “never” be able to understand how my people endured “slavery” for that was much worse than what we see going on today. Yes It Was! Truthfully, how did they survive that?

Black America, you are a miracle! You are the product of the greatest survivors on earth. For any group to experience the cruelty, brutality, and wickedness that was thrust upon you by White America, and survive the experience with any semblance of sanity is a miracle. But, that survival experience has left some long lasting consequences; consequences that affect Black Americans today.

Where is the “outrage” that is so desperately needed regarding what is going on throughout our country today? Where is the “cry loud and spare not” voices that should be pouring out of the mouths from the church regarding the inhumanity that is being displayed by the powers that be? The attitudes that we see going on today regarding man’s inhumanity to man is very mind-blowing. How long is our society going to halter between two opinions regarding this inhumane behavior that is being displayed by many of the leaders throughout this country! How long? How long? How long? What is it going to take to wake the people up? America, in fact the whole world, is heading towards “Self-Destruction” and so many seem not to care at all. Wow!

The windows of the world are covered with rain and not many seem to care at all. Why? Why is mankind so separated and divided? Why can’t we understand that we all cry, we all feel pain, we all need love and kindness. What the world needs now is “Love” for that’s the only thing that there is just too little of. When are we going to wake up and realize that we are seeing the destruction of our society going on before our very eyes. Our world is seriously heading towards self-destruction and many seem not to care. Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up! If not, why not? “Seriously Think About “All” Of This!” Maybe it’s not meant for you to wake up, for just as in the days of Noah when he was building the ark, they didn’t wake up either. What is meant to be will be. This “ Ball of Confusion” evidently is a part of things winding down.

“Even So Come Lord Jesus!” Always remember that whatever I write is coming forth from a heart of love but it’s “Tough Love!”
