Newburgh City Planning Director Deirdre Glenn Resigns

NEWBURGH – Newburgh city director of planning and development Deirdre Glenn has resigned. City Manager Michael Ciaravino has named Cynthia Corsiglia as interim director. She will “perform time sensitive work to continue the work of business development and administration” in Newburgh, Ciaravino said.

Corsiglia has a law degree from Hofstra University and has provided legal services related to administration and investment-related work, including investor negotiations and communications, service agreements, commercial lease, insurance policies, human resources, compliance policies and procedures, regulatory filings and recruitment assistance.

She has served as a volunteer with Lawyers Foreclosure Intervention Network, a project of the New York City Bar Justice Center and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in which volunteers negotiate mortgages on behalf of homeowners facing foreclosure.
