Kistner Named O.C. Tourism Coordinator

GOSHEN – Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus is proud to announce that Stephanie Kistner has been named the County’s Tourism Coordinator.

“We are very fortunate to have someone as talented and energetic as Stephanie to fill this important position,” Neuhaus said. “Stephanie is hard-working and ambitious, and will be an asset to Orange County. The tourism industry continues to grow here and in the region. Working closely with Tourism Director Amanda Dana, Stephanie will play a key role in continuing this trend.”

Kistner’s responsibilities will include assisting Dana in planning, developing and implementing programs and projects aimed at promoting tourism.

Prior to coming to Orange County government, Kistner worked as an Account Executive with Poughkeepsie Journal Media (2017-18) and Major League Baseball in New York (2016-17), developing a variety of marketing campaign and partnerships. She was an Advertising Sales Planner for Scripps Networks Interactive, working exclusively on accounts for the Travel Channel and Great American Country Channel.

Kistner received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University in 2011.

“I’m impressed with Stephanie’s energy and the wealth of diverse experiences and ideas that she brings with her,” Dana said. “I’m confident that Stephanie is the right person at the right time for this position and we’re excited to welcome her. Her presence is a welcome addition to my hard-working staff and will help to position Orange County to be a leader in New York in terms of tourism success.”
