MARLBORO – Travelers on Route 9W were delayed for more than 30 minutes as first responders worked to clear a two car accident that closed lanes in both directions Saturday afternoon.
Members of the Marlboro Fire Department responded as did local police and Mobile Life. At least two people were transported to areas hospitals following the accident which happened near the Marlboro Library, according to an eyewitness.
One vehicle’s air bags were visibly deployed on the drivers side and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
