Kartrite Sponsors Outlet’s Redesigned Playground

CENTRAL VALLEY — Woodbury Common Premium Outlets and The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark, the newest attraction in Sullivan County, have come together to further generate tourism in the Hudson Valley region. The two destinations hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Outlet’s recently redesigned playground, located in the Saratoga District near Calvin Klein and Puma, on Thursday, May 30. The Kartrite is the new sponsor of the playground.
Event attendees gained access to refreshments, special retailer discounts and promotions from eateries like Shake Shack, as well as raffles for a free overnight stay at The Kartrite and a $500 Simon Premium Outlet gift card.

“This is an exciting collaboration for us. The Kartrite offers luxury accommodations well-suited to the tastes of many of our visitors. As one of the newest developments in the region, this sponsorship helps expose more families to their brand while offering a fun, fresh look to our playground,” said David Mistretta, General Manager, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

Woodbury Common attracts more than 13 million visitors annually. Home to more than 250 highly sought-after retailers offering daily savings of up to 65 percent, the center has become a major tourism driver for the region and New York State. To maintain its commitment to enhancing and elevating its customers’ shopping experience, Woodbury Common recently introduced a free activity center for its youngest visitors to enjoy while on property. The horse track-themed playground offers families an appealing break while shopping.

The Kartrite’s sponsorship of the playground symbolizes two major tourism drivers from neighboring counties working together to help increase tourism in the entire Hudson Valley region.

“As The Kartrite is the place where style and fun collide, we are honored to sponsor what we consider a natural partnership with the playground at Woodbury Common,” says Dan Paradiso, Director of Sales and Marketing for The Kartrite. “As we continue to build upon our mission to embrace local partners and drive awareness for the destination, we hope visitors to the area experience all we have to offer — from the state’s Biggest Indoor Waterpark to the ultimate shopping experience.”
