U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Brittani E. Smith

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Brittani E. Smith graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Smith is the daughter of Latisha Polnitz of Amityville, New York, and Benjamin Smith of Eutawville, South Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Dolores Smith of Eutawville.

The airman is a 2014 graduate of Lake Marion High School and Technology Center, Santee, South Carolina. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2018 from Monroe College, New Rochelle, New York.
