NEW WINDSOR – Town Police in New Windsor say the woman who was shot to death around midnight Saturday morning was a Walden resident.
Chelsea Debidin, 21, was found murdered at the Knox Village Apartments at 835 Blooming Grove Turnpike. A man was also shot and was taken to the hospital for treatment of what police said were non-life-threatening injuries.
New Windsor and State Police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force are exploring all possible motives for the incident, said Deputy New Windsor Police Chief Michael Farbent.
