Cornell Cooperative 104th Annual Meeting and Awards

MIDDLETOWN – Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County will hold its Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner at Villa Venezia in Middletown on Monday, November 18, 2019. Social Hour begins at 5 PM followed by dinner at 6 PM. Tickets are can be purchased. The “2019 Distinguished Service Award” will be presented to Mr. Michael R. Pillmeier of Florida in recognition of his continued dedicated service to the organization, having significantly furthered the purpose/mission for which the organization was founded, and continued support over a number of years helping to provide many opportunities to the residents of Orange County.

The “Volunteer of the Year Award” will be presented to Paul & Eunice Bookstaver of Slate Hill. The award is presented to an individual/s who demonstrates support for Cornell Cooperative Extension and its mission through many hours of volunteering and participation in programs/activities to enhance the opportunities available for the youth and adults of Orange County.

The business meeting agenda includes the election of the 2020 Board of Directors. The slate of candidates include Everett Collie of Middletown, Dr. Paul Johnson of Middletown, Belinda Anthony Van Dunk of Hamptonburgh, and Howard Mills of Hamptonburgh.
