“Holiday Lights in Bloom” at the OC Arboretum

MONTGOMERY – The Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is pleased to announce the 11th annual “Holiday Lights in Bloom” program which began on November 29th at the Arboretum in Thomas Bull Memorial Park.

It may be chilly out but the Arboretum will be in “full bloom” with beautiful, garden themed light displays in the forms of flowers, animals and insects. Children, and adults alike, will be charmed as they stroll through the various themed gardens created in lights.

The “Holiday Lights in Bloom” program is Free and will be open to the public from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting November 29th through December 29th.
Volunteers from The Friends of the OC Arboretum will be on hand in the Ottaway Education center serving free hot cocoa (while supplies last) and selling handmade crafts at their Holiday Boutique (which will end on December 15th).

Be sure you visit this “ever growing” event and make it part of your family’s holiday traditions.

The Arboretum is located within Thomas Bull Memorial Park on State Route 416 in Montgomery (enter Hamptonburg for GPS directions) and is most easily accessed from the Grove St. entrance to the park. For more information, please call Tamara Moson at 845-615-3828 or visit www.orangecountynyparks.com
