NEW YORK – A 16-year-old Arlington High School girl reportedly admitted to having staged her abduction in New York City on Tuesday morning, according to New York media reports.
Karol Sanchez was walking in the Bronx early in the morning with her mother when a car pulled up and two men grabbed the girl and pushed her into the vehicle before speeding off. She was found unharmed Tuesday afternoon.
Now, several New York City media reports indicate the girl admitted to staging the abduction.
New York City Police had no comment about the incident or the girl’s hometown.
