Three New Businesses Bring 60 Jobs to Ellenville

ELLENVILLE – The Arc Mid-Hudson joined Senator Jen Metzer for a press conference on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, to announce three new businesses and dozens of jobs coming to Ellenville, New York.

Gary Bellows, Business Development Officer at The Arc Mid-Hudson, collaborated with EZ Fast Printing, Matrix New York, Inc. and North American Apparel, Inc. to rent and/or purchase space in Ellenville from The Arc Mid-Hudson. Mark Dolon, CEO at EZ Fast Printing, Mujhammed Janghir, CEO at North American Apparel, Inc. and Delwar Mohmmad, Sales and Marketing at Matrix, New York, Inc. are excited about the partnership as well as becoming an integral part of the community.

In addition to growing their company, they have committed to hiring locally while also creating new employment opportunities for people with disabilities who live in the community. “We look forward to working with you to find the employees you need and to support you in any way we can,” Metzger told the business owners. Mayor Jeff Kaplan followed up by announcing, “We are open for business and are here to partner and help all businesses that want to come to Ellenville.”

Gary Bellows said, “The Arc Mid-Hudson’s mission is to create opportunities for those who have disabilities. We strive to have a workforce filled with those who are abled working hand-in-hand with those who are disabled.” John McHugh, Executive Director stated, “We are thrilled to help bring businesses back into Ellenville and provide jobs for people with disabilities. We are grateful for Senator Metzger for her support and helping this happen.

The Senator’s leadership and commitment are rooted in her compassion towards people with developmental disabilities and everyone in our community.”

These local businesses bring growth and innovation to our community while supporting local economy and those who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
