WEST POINT – The Army West Point men’s and women’s track and field teams had 20 event wins in its meet against Boston College on Saturday at Gillis Field House.
The Black Knights put up strong numbers on the women’s side winning a total of 10 events. Emily Mikoud had another strong outing, placing first in the weight throw and the shot put for the fourth straight week, while Holli Chapman was also a double winner on the day, placing first in the 60m and the 200m.
Bonvie Fosam, Gabrielle Ingram, Isabella Palchak, Deanna Ogrinc, Emma Taylor and Hannah Blakey were among the rest of the Black Knights that headlined for the women’s team today, placing first in their respective events.

The Black Knights continued their dominant performance on the men’s side, capturing first place in 10 events as well. There were multiple event winners on the day, as the team placed first in five field events and five track events. Patriot League Men’s Field Athlete of the Week, Jamir Gibson, notched a first place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 18.62m.
