West Point Takes Down Lehigh on the Road

BETHLEHEM, PA. – After a hard fought match at Boston last weekend, the Army West Point women’s tennis team bounced back with a 7-0 win over Lehigh on Saturday.
The Black Knights (9-3, 6-1) recorded their fifth sweep of the season with the win.
Ana Joyner and Sam DiMaio opened the match with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. After dropping No. 3, Stephanie Dolehide and Caroline Vincent secured the first team point with a 7-5 win at No. 1.

Vincent kept it rolling as singles play began, as the junior cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3.

Freshman Carolyn Ahn made it 3-0 on the team score with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 6.

The clincher came at No. 4, as Paola Bou secured a 6-1, 6-4 win.

Joyner, Justine Dondonay, and Dolehide would also capture singles wins on the day.
