NEWBURGH – The City of Newburgh has announced that City Hall and other municipal buildings officially reopened to the public on Monday, May 17, 2021.
• Visitors are required to wear masks at all times while in the building and maintain social distancing. Sanitizers are located throughout all municipal buildings and are available for use.
• If traveling in a group, members of the public are encouraged to limit the number of individuals entering city buildings to only those essential to conducting city business.
• Once business is complete, visitors are to exit the building immediately.
In order for municipal buildings to remain fully reopen, the public is encouraged to please follow staff directions as some processes and procedures may have changed since your last visit.
City Hall and the administrative offices located at 123 Grand Street will fully reopen to the public during regular business hours. The Activity Center of the Recreation Department and the Public Works office on Pierces Road will permit one visitor at a time. Scheduling an appointment in advance of visiting City office buildings is advised.
Despite City Hall reopening, the city encourages residents to continue to use online, telephone, and email options for city services to help prevent the spread of the pandemic.
