Attorney Named Bar Association President

POUGHKEEPSIE – Partners of McCabe and Mack LLP, based in Poughkeepsie, New York, announced that Partner Daniel C. Stafford has been named President of the Dutchess County Bar Association.

Stafford, a resident of Cornwall on Hudson, works on the commercial litigation, corporate formation and transactions, secured lending, and residential and commercial real estate teams at McCabe and Mack LLP, Attorneys at Law. The graduate of Texas A&M University (B.A., 2004) and John Marshall Law School (J.D., 2008) has been published as a legislative history author (John Marshall Law Journal, 2007-2008) and has earned admissions to the U.S. District Court Southern District of New York (2013), U.S. District Court Northern District of New York (2013), U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit (2011), Northern Mariana Islands (2011), U.S. Court of Appeals 2nd Circuit (2011), and Georgia (2009).

The mission of the Dutchess County Bar Association is “to improve the quality and accessibility of justice, promote respect for and understanding of the law, enhance professional growth, fulfillment, excellence, collegiality and diversity among its members, serve as a voice of the profession and to assist in the betterment of the life of the community.

Stafford also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Abilities First, a Poughkeepsie-based nonprofit that provides vocational training, residential, and educational services to people with developmental disabilities.
