Maloney Hosts Town Halls in the Park

HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) hosted two “Speak with Sean Town Halls in the Park,” in Hopewell Junction in Dutchess County and Goshen in Orange County. Constituents brought their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets to connect with the Congressman and get help from his office.

“We’ve been busy in Washington delivering for the people this year, and these town halls give me the opportunity to update New Yorkers on my work and hear directly from my constituents about the issues that matter to them most. This week alone, millions of families woke up with more money in the bank thanks to the Child Tax Credit. In my district over 168,000 children have been impacted,” said Rep. Sean Maloney. “Bringing my constituents’ ideas and concerns back with me to Congress is key to our continued recovery in the wake of COVID-19.”

Rep. Maloney has hosted over 180 town halls since he was elected to Congress – including many Telephone Town Halls and Facebook Live events with members of the community. He has hosted nine in-person town halls since the beginning of the pandemic.

Rep. Maloney’s office has a talented team of constituent advocates who have helped hundreds of New Yorkers cut through government red tape and get the assistance they need during the coronavirus pandemic.
