Chuck Schumer Has Endorsed Anthony Grice

NEWBURGH – On Monday, August 2, United States Senate Majority Leader, Senator Charles E. Schumer (D-NY) announced his support of City of Newburgh Councilman At-Large Anthony Grice, Democratic and Working Families Party nominee for Orange County Clerk.

Senator Schumer, on his endorsement of Anthony Grice for the Orange County Clerk’s office, stated that, “I’ve worked with Councilman Grice for years on issues impacting the City of Newburgh and its residents, especially in our fight to clean up the toxic PFAS mess in the City’s drinking water, and know firsthand that Anthony is a proven leader with a deep commitment to public service and improving the lives of Orange County families. As a lifelong Orange County resident, Anthony knows the struggles facing our communities and his three years as the At-Large Newburgh City Councilman, dedication to our kids as a 18-year public school teacher, and bold forward-thinking platform are proof that he will be a Clerk that will transform and improve public services for the residents of Orange County. I’m confident that Anthony will work to provide the transparent, reliable, and equitable services that Orange County residents and businesses need to rebuild from this pandemic and am proud to endorse him to be our next Orange County Clerk.”
