Marist Football Holds First Summer Practice

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Marist football team held its first practice of summer camp on Sunday afternoon at Tenney Stadium.

The Red Foxes reported for camp on Friday and Saturday, and took part in conditioning activities and testing on Saturday. Sunday’s practice started at 4:15 p.m., and lasted just under two hours.

In accordance with NCAA rules, the Red Foxes will practice once a day, with an off day every seventh day, through Thursday, Aug. 26.

Marist will open its 11-game 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Georgetown.

The Red Foxes’ home opener will be Saturday, Sept. 25 against Bryant at 6 p.m. It is the first of five home games at Tenney Stadium this season.

Marist’s eight-game PFL slate will start on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Valparaiso.
